Town Council Sets Water Flow Plan and Diamond Jubilee
The council discussed improving the old river bed water flow in the park with a two inch pipe to 3rd or 4th Avenue. It approved an electrical distribution survey by Chace and planned Manitoba’s Diamond Jubilee celebration inviting neighboring districts. A tag system for traffic bylaw violators was authorized and a $1,500 water project for the mountain water intake was approved with a site visit by May 19.

In line with the early closing by law all retail stores and places of business must close at noon on Thursdays during June July and August. The half holiday begins today June 5.
