Fred S Zaplitny was elected president of the Dauphin chamber of commerce for 1964 at the general meeting. Bill Hanbury named vice president with Bob Oliver finishing his third year as president. Directors for two years and one year were appointed, and the executive will organize standing committees. The Santa Claus parade committee may become a standing committee and a $100 donation to the Dauphin Horticultural Society was proposed for banquet entertainment at the provincial convention in Dauphin February 5 to 7. The annual chamber banquet is slated for early in the year.
