Emma Parker Rites Held for Dauphin Resident

Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Parker were held at Sneath's funeral home on Saturday December 9 at 2 30 PM. She died in Dauphin on December 7 at age 67. Burial at Riverside cemetery Grenfell Saskatchewan. Survived by nine sons and three daughters, two sisters and a brother.

Mrs Sara Martin of Dauphin died at her daughter's home on Saturday December 9 at 85. Born Sarah Ellen Hall in Harrisburg Ontario on July 12 1865 she married Julius Adam who died first and later John Martin who also died. John Ritchie Dead. Gilbert Plains Resident 83

John Ritchie of Gilbert Plains died at his home Sunday December 10 at age 83. Funeral held December 13 at 1:30 pm at Gilbert Plains United Church with Rev. Marchant officiating. Burial in Eldon cemetery. Survived by son Herbert Kenora and daughter Jessie May Wreggit Gilbert Plains. He was born in Roseharty Aberdeenshire Scotland 1867 and lived in Ontario before moving to Gilbert Plains. He married Jessey Miller of Orangeville who died in 1948. He was a United church member a charter member of the Canadian Order of Foresters and served as Melick and Jeffery councilor in Kenora district.

Infant Daughter of Mr and Mrs Shewchuk Dies in Dauphin

The infant daughter of Mr and Mrs William Shewchuk of Valley River died in Dauphin on Friday December 8. A funeral was held Saturday December 9 at 11 a m at Sneaths funeral home conducted by Father Boshak. Interment followed in Riverside cemetery Dauphin.
