Governor General to Visit Dauphin
His Excellency the Duke of Devonshire, Governor General of Canada, will visit Dauphin on Monday the 26th. A reception committee will greet him at the 11:30 train, followed by a 12 noon luncheon then a drive through the countryside to view crops. Premier Norris and Sir Jas Atkins will accompany him, with tickets for the luncheon sold by Canadian Club members and three stores before Friday.

Boy Killed by Lightning on Lake Road Farm
A 14 year old boy, son of Mr. William Warrain, was killed by lightning Sunday afternoon while riding with his brother to herd cows near their lake road farm. The horse also died. The brother was uninjured. Funeral held Monday at Riverside cemetery with Rev. H. P. Everett officiating.

Jodoin Given One Year Jail Term for Bigamy

Boy Drowns In Well After Board Removal In Victoria Park
The three year old son of Mr. Courtney Veal of Victoria Park fell into a well Sunday and drowned after apparently removing the top boards. Funeral conducted Tuesday by Dr. de Mattos. Wheat cutting begins in the district this week.
