Five teams entered the fair tournament but harvest kept others away. Swan River beat a Dauphin selection 8 to 4 in an exhibition. Friday results: Gilbert Plains 1 swept by Swan River 10. Grand View 38 defeated Dauphin 11. Gilbert Plains 10 beat Gilbert Plains 7. Umpires were Thos Johnston and A M Watson.

Business Men Take Lake Trip to Winnipegosis
About forty Dauphin businessmen traveled Sunday to Winnipegosis at the invitation of J. P. Grenon manager of Armstrong Independent Fisheries Ltd. They rode the Armenou steamer for roughly 50 miles up the lake. Capt. Jack Denby and the crew ensured a pleasant voyage with favorable weather and good fare. On the return they were honored with a presentation to Capt. Denby and tokens for the crew. the party returned to Dauphin about 1 a.m.
