Mrs Grant McDiswell forty seven from Shannondale died at Methodist hospital in Indianapolis Tuesday morning at 1 30 from pneumonia after an appendicitis operation a week earlier. Funeral Thursday at 1 30 at Shannondale Presbyterian Church with Rev Okel Hall. Burial in Shannondale cemetery. Survived by husband four children Earl Shook Montana sister Mary Engle St Paul Minn grandson John M Tribbett Jr. Community mourns her as a church and civic leader.

Auto crash injures Caldwell family near Shannondale
Mr and Mrs Frank Caldwell and their daughter Elda were in a serious Sunday evening collision on the Crawfordsville Lebanon road after meeting a car with bright headlights. The Caldwells were taken to Darlington by their son Alva. the other driver stopped and offered no further aid.

Boys In Upset Klondike Wagon Incident Near Main Street
Ashur and Ernest Beck sons of Mr and Mrs Clinton Beck north of town were riding to school when their Klondike wagon overturned at the Dr Flora corner on Main street after the horse turned the corner. The wheels caught the curb and dumped the occupants into the street. No injuries reported, wagon damaged.

The annual O R H QO society fish fry was held at Mr and Mrs Everett Butler home on Saturday evening November 25. Gentlemen members cooked and served the meal while ladies praised the efficiency of the demonstration. Operation Successful For Julia Jeanette in Crawfordsville
