In Montgomery County Circuit Court a jury quickly found Earl Valentine guilty of second degree burglary for felonious entry of the Thompson garage in Darlington last August. Marshal Painter of Darlington identified Valentine. Judge West avoided sentencing pending potential motions or appeal. the offense carries two to fourteen years in the state penitentiary.

Luther D. Coyner age 82 died at his home seven miles northeast of Darlington Sunday morning after several months illness. Survived by son Washington Coyner of Fickle Ind and daughters Mart Gray Darlington Charles Hamilton Indianapolis and Delilah Coyner. Eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral Tuesday at one o'clock at home, Rev D G Campbell of White's Church officiated. Interment White's Cemetery. Coyner was a prominent farmer and longtime justice of the peace in Sugar Creek township.
