George A Lynch Ends Life in Lebanon Hotel
George A. Lynch a former Darlington resident shot himself in the right temple with a 38 cal Colt in a Cogswell hotel room in Lebanon on Friday morning. He had recently returned from Crawfordsville and visited relatives before taking an interurban to Lebanon then planned to return to Columbus. He left notes seeking care for his children and detailing where his clothes and tools were. A private funeral was held at his mother's home. He is survived by three children, his mother, four brothers and two sisters. He was a veteran of the Spanish American War and belonged to several fraternal orders.

Needle Club Meets for Fancy Work and Art Study
Thirteen Fortnightly Needle Club members gathered Wednesday with two guests Mrs. Lora Booher and Mrs. Damon Thompson. Mrs. Lora Booher offered piano selections while members admired an embroidered satin apron from France. Refreshments were doughnuts and coca. Next meeting set for March 5 with Mrs. Will Campbell.

Pythian Sisters Hold Regular Meeting and Plans
At the Pythian Sisters meeting two candidates Mrs Hila Cox and Miss Mae Coffman were given the work. The group enjoyed a fan cy drill and talks. Visiting member Mrs Merle Coons attended. A two course supper followed. Next Wednesday February 26 at the K P hall a get together for Knights and Pythian Sisters and families with a banquet at 6 30 and entertainment.
