Georg B. Lynch Dies in Darlington at 73
Georg B. Lynch longtime Darlington resident died Friday night at his home from an bladder abscess. Born May 12 1844 in Armaugh County Ireland he came to the United States at 19 and later married Adaline Hughson in Canada. He lived in Darlington since 1872 working in woolen goods brickmasonry and contracting. Survived by his wife ten children five sons and two daughters, a brother and three sisters. Funeral was at the M. E. church with interment in I O O F cemetery.

Two Trains Off Sunday Schedule to Resume Later
Only two passenger trains ran last Sunday to permit releasing engines for coal duties one northbound in the morning and one southbound in the evening. The same program will be in effect next Sunday after which the old schedule will resume.

Train Delayed After Rim Failure Near Town
Southbound night passenger train four hours late Sunday night after two rear drive wheel rims came off near town. A narrow escape from a serious accident prompted use of a second engine from midway. Harry Morton Wright, a Kirkpatrick bank cashier, died Sunday night at St Elizabeths hospital Lafayette from double pneumonia after an operation. Born October 12, 1878, he earlier taught in Darlington and later lived on a Clarkshill farm. Survived by widow Bertha N. Wright. Funeral held at Clarkshill Tuesday afternoon.
