Memorial Service Coverage Halts Darlingtons Business
In memory of the late President Warren G Harding, Darling ton will nearly suspend business tomorrow afternoon during the funeral services. Most shops and the post office will close from 3 to 4 pm as church bells toll for ten minutes for the Marion Ohio cortege. A memorial service follows at the Methodist church next Sunday with Rev Brandenburg delivering the address and hymns sung, inviting public attendance.

Carl Fletcher, leader of the 151st Infantry band at New Richmond, has pneumonia. He fell ill at his home northwest of town after contracting a heavy cold at Camp Knox. He was taken ill during the band's weekly concert last Tuesday evening and returned home. His condition now is said to be much better.

Farmer Hurt When Wagon Tongue Breaks Leg Near Sugar Plain
Elwood Rich a 67 year old farmer living near Sugar Plain was found in his barn yard with a broken leg after a wagon tongue struck him while unhitching horses. He had been hauling gravel near Colfax and returned home about 5 PM. Neighbors carried him inside and Dr. Bassett of Thorntown treated him. He suffered a nervous shock but is reported improving with hopeful recovery.

Buried in Same Grave Mrs Sarah W Wilson Funeral
Mrs Sarah Webster Wilson mother of the late Miss Anna Wilson former Crawfordsville school superintendent died at her home last Saturday and was buried beside her daughter. Miss Wilson died July 6 and the two caskets were laid side by side in the family grave on Monday afternoon.

Summer Festival Saturday Night at Presbyterian Gym
