Danes Train For Greenland Patrol Duty With Sirius Dogs
Recruits endure medical and dental work and five months training at the Norwegian Winter Warfare School before joining the Sirius dog sled patrols in Greenland. The unit, active 93 years, guards a vast Arctic coast, dispenses justice, transports mail, and watches for prospectors in a national park.
