Youth Accused Of Plot To Terrorize College President Into Contract
In Clarkson New York two youths were arrested in a bizarre scheme to force Brockport State President Dr Albert K Brown to sign a 28 page contract. Richard E Gaborski 18 of Greece claimed Brockport student status and sought office an honorary degree a salary and a car. A second youth Raymond K Vanderbeck 18 also of Greece was arrested on five felony charges after forcing Brown into a car at gunpoint but did not present the contract. Investigators say the plot began Monday and focused on gaining campus power rather than any social element of the plan.

Wreckage Found In Potomac Plane Crash
Army Beaver plane bound from Fort Eustis Virginia to Harrisburg Pennsylvania crashed into the Potomac River near Coles Point Maryland. The body of one of five aboard was recovered by Army divers aided by an Army helicopter. The search continued for the other victims as Maryland Marine Police assisted with boat support.
