Deepest B52 strikes hit North Vietnam in six months

In a six month high, B52s struck North Vietnam while government troops claimed 197 enemy killed near a town. Saigon said 103 enemy attacks occurred in 24 hours, mainly by rockets and mortars around Saigon and the Mekong Delta. Government losses reached 64 killed and 351 wounded as an American general was lightly wounded.

Floods threaten flood crest and power stations
