Doctor Returns To His Office After Jailing Over Alimony
In Clarksburg West Virginia Dr Phillip W Hall a pediatrician who served a week in jail for refusing alimony without seeing his children returned to his practice. An out of court agreement required 4000 dollars in back alimony and visitation rights. Hall who supports Fathers United for Equal Justice said the case tests divorce law and he hopes for fairer laws. He noted he has paid child support since 1971. He urged reforms while protesters gathered outside the jail. His partner Dr Robert Marks described a hectic eight day period and then left town for rest.
