Mrs Nancy Nicolaides former Danville resident dies in Arlington

Nancy Elizabeth Stowe Nicolaides died Sunday at her Arlington home 2017 North Oakland Drive after three years of failing health. She was born to Oscar R. Stowe and Eva Hearp Stowe of Danville and lived in the Danville area before moving to Arlington. She attended Emmanuel Pentecostal Holiness Church. Survived by her husband George Nicolaides two sons Nicholas and Theodore Nicolaides both of Arlington five sisters and three brothers. Wilkins Found Guilty of Assault and Battery

Phillip Jerrie Wilkins was found guilty of assault and battery by Judge James Ingram in Danville District Court on Friday. He faced a $50 fine after being accused of malicious wounding for throwing hot water that burned Larry Fitzgerald during an incident at Wilkins home around 1 a.m. on September 11 as Fitzgerald pursued his estranged wife.

Danville Jaycees To Hold Annual Shut-In Party

The Danville Jaycees and Jaycettes sponsor a Dec 15–24 shut-in party as part of the Empty Stocking Fund to provide holiday gifts for every confined elderly person in Danville.
