McIntire Plans March for Victory Rally Messages From Leaders

Dr Carl McIntire announced a March for Victory rally on Saturday on Pennsylvania Avenue to hear telephoned messages from Chiang Kai-shek and South Vietnam and South Korea leaders. He said messages from George Wallace and Lester Maddox would also be aired. He avoided precise crowd figures, noting estimates ranged from 25,000 to 500,000 in prior demonstrations.

War path shows 21 new dead in Laos air losses

The military reported 21 classifications shifting from missing to dead, 13 shot down over Laos in air operations. The seven day tally lists 592 U S wounded in action, highest since October, raising total war dead since 1961 to 45,087 and wounded to 298,381. An additional 20 Americans died from accidents and illness to 9,506 nonhostile deaths.

Crash Continues Near Page One Toward Phoenix
