The Danville Bar Association postponed any decision on a proposed additional judgeship for Danville Corporation Court. President Frank Talbott said the sole vote was to delay the association’s recommendation until a future meeting, with no date set. The judgeship bills passed in both chambers face a technical hurdle before adoption, and would take effect once Gov. Godwin signs them due to an emergency clause.
