Airliner guards stop three hijackers in Tehran shootout
A Iraqi airliner diverted to Tehran was stormed by security guards after hijackers seized control on a domestic flight from Mosul. One passenger died and 10 people were wounded, including a hijacker, in the gunfight that followed the forced landing. Iranian officials said the pilot escaped the cockpit and fled while guards and airport security secured the plane.

Four UF students die in relay run crash near Perry
