Virginia National Bank to cut about 200 jobs statewide
A consultant study prompted Virginia National Bank to eliminate roughly 200 positions across its statewide system by December, affecting secretaries data processors and tellers as well as some officers. Cutchins said most affected will move within the bank, with up to 50 of 3700 employees potentially dismissed. The firm plans to reassign staff from a pool as vacancies exist.
