Last week Te Rev and Mrs James W Mathieson visited Virginia Beach while Mr Mathieson attended a clergy conference. Albert Philippson returned home on Wilile St after two weeks in East Orange Nd. Mrs Thurmond Worthington and daughter Kim returned to Virginia Beach after Memorial Day with Mrs Worthingtons mother Mrs Wilbert A Jenkins. Elizabeth Whitehead arrived from Phoenix to spend summer at Eldon near Chatham. Lily recalls family and early career in Detroit and New York in 1965, including TV appearances on the Merv Griffin and Gary Moore shows. She earned a $900 residual for a prior commercial, then toured and bought a Los Angeles home while planning more performances and awaiting her first Grammy as a comedienne.
