Former Dancer Loses Suit May Keep On Driving Truck

The Roanoke jury ruled against 42 year old former exotic dancer Tesla Jean Roberts in a 25,000 dollar suit against Davol Rubber Co. Roberts testified the Davol adhesive burned when she used pasties in a Roanoke nightclub incident on Oct 26, 1966. Judge Ballou found the adhesive not used as intended and her attorneys failed to prove the product was defective. Roberts, now a long haul truck driver, may appeal but her attorney called the verdict “sort of expected.”
