Blumenthal Says Government May Not Okay Loan

Treasury chief Blumenthal told New York City mayor Beame the government may withhold a $255 million loan to avert insolvency next month unless the city shows progress in resolving a stalemate over nearly 1 billion in short term notes. Terri Myers honored in Smyrna CB tribute and grave service

A Smyrna memorial service honored Terri Myers with a CB radio connection noted as her lifeline. The funeral included a four gun salute from Naval Air Station Marietta and a helicopter flyover before Terri's pink and white casket lowered.
