Three Charlottesville Men Bound Over To District Court On Marijuana Charges
In Charlottesville four men met after a pair of federal undercover agents posing as buyers encountered Alfred L. Martin Bernard Jones and Roger Lee Johnson during a February weekend. Charlotte Man Fatally Shot at Home
Howard Eugene Kirby 42 a Cow Pens South Carolina native died after being shot at his Charlotte home. He staggered to a taxi he had called collapsed and asked to be taken to a hospital. An ambulance arrived but he died from multiple chest wounds. His wife Martha was found unconscious in the house and listed in satisfactory condition. A .25 caliber pistol lay beside her bed.
