Midshipmen Train With Marines At Camp Pendleton
335 Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps midshipmen joined amphibious exercises at Camp Pendleton California. They rode from USS Tripoli to a beach assault, learned helicopter escape and assault tactics with UDT SEAL units, watched weapon demonstrations, and completed a submarine tour before a full dress parade and awards. The event ended with praise for the iced tea that energized the trainees.
