Light rain and snow continued to shape the weather across the United States interior Sunday. A snow band covered central Illinois and Indiana with showers from West Virginia to the Great Lakes. light snow and freezing drizzle stretched from Minnesota to Colorado and into Missouri. Snow fell in parts of Texas and New Mexico, while the western Gulf Coast and middle Atlantic were mostly cloudy. Scattered showers and a few thundershowers occurred in Texas Louisiana and western Arkansas. Clear to partly cloudy conditions appeared along the Atlantic coasts and from the northern Rockies to California. Temperatures ranged from 77 in Brownsville Texas to 11 in Jackson Wyoming. A warm front stretched from western Manitoba into eastern South Dakota and then to northeastern Arkansas, with fronts influencing Texas and British Columbia. Highs reached into southeastern Georgia, central Virginia and western Wyoming.
