Hijacked jet with 151 aboard forced to Havana
A Philadelphia to Miami jumbo jet carrying 151 people was hijacked and diverted to Jose Marti Airport in Havana. The hijacker, described as a Negro man, reportedly used a toy pistol with a four year-old girl in tow. Passengers were kept in guarded rooms, later bused to Varadero, while two planes were sent to return them to Miami. No injuries reported.
