Nepotism Probe Slated In Henrico This Week
U S Labor Department officials will visit Henrico County to review a county probe into alleged nepotism misuse of funds and improper accounting in a federally funded Manpower program. Consortium administrator A E Marks and supervisor Ken E Goade Jr are suspended as the county investigates. The program’s current budget is $12 million largely from the Labor Department via Philadelphia. The regional administrator said the federal office will wait for the county’s findings before acting.

Gov. Cecil Andrus of Idaho, a longtime conservationist and ally of environmental causes, is named by President Carter to head the Interior Department. Seven Die As Tanker Explodes Off Los Angeles Harbor
