A sharp drop in high quality burley prices hits Tennessee growers during the first weeks of the 1969 auction season. The two week totals show about 46.7 million dollars in sales on 56.9 million pounds, far below 1968, with buyers from major cigarette companies reluctant to pay premium prices.
The Peers board questioned Capt. Eugene M. Katauc a former intelligence officer for the Army task force that moved on the My Lai hamlet on March 16 1968. He and Lt Col David C.
