Commissioners urge county to hire subdivision administrator
Pittsylvania County ad hoc commission on subdivisions voted to ask the Board of Supervisors to appoint or hire a dedicated subdivision administrator from the Building Inspector’s office or related construction knowledge area. They also seek a board of appeals to review rejected subdivision requests and to move toward revisions of the 10 year old ordinance. The goal is immediate, practical administration and final revisions following supervisor policy decisions.
