Spill from Fage One well under gale and calm winds

A offshore spill from Fage One was driven by strong winds and later a calm day. Officials estimate about 6.5 million gallons spilled by Thursday noon with more than half evaporating or dissolving. By midmorning Wednesday the slick stretched kidney bean shaped, 31 miles long and 12 miles wide.
