Broken through crevasse two hundred yards wide opens in the levee eighty five miles below Friars Point with water rushing through. A second break is reported at McClouds fifteen miles below Friars Point. Washington notes treasury comptroller tells treasurer to withhold salary payments to Theodore Singsisser newly elected Idaho delegate until accounts are adjusted. Chippewa delegates call on the President.
