In Cheboygan Michigan 500 masked men abducted Titt Warner from the jail and hanged him from a railroad viaduct cross ties. Nellie Lyons eight years old had been enticed away by a tramp while on an errand and found dying next morning with injuries including a stab wound to the left lung.
