Murdering an Indian Girl arraigned at Pierre

David E. Curier was arraigned before U S Commissioner Waldron in Pierre charged with killing an Indian girl named Little Cat on September 13 1882 at a Sioux reservation site north of the Morean river about seventy miles from Standing Rock. The case notes he shot at a deer and hit the girl who was with two sisters. he attempted life saving efforts and was discharged after review.
