Hearst details kidnapping in court affidavit report
Patricia Hearst for the first time described her kidnapping by the Symbionese Liberation Army saying she lived in a fantasy world. The affidavit says she was seized on February 4, 1974, assaulted, gagged, bound and kept in a hot, windowless closet for days while captors broadcast statements and threatened execution unless demands were met.
