Chrysler UAW Strike Ends After 30 Hour Talks
DETROIT URI Chrysler Corp and the United Auto Worker union reach a tentative settlement ending a strike that began Friday night. UAW President Leonard Woodcock announced details after marathon bargaining lasting about 30 hours. The accord involves about 113,000 Chrysler workers in 3% states and Canada and makes this the shortest national strike in UAW history.

Reagan to sign BART vote bill opens director elections
