Fremont couple adopt hope to aid orphans abroad
A Fremont couple, James and Marilyn Jones, quit comforts to aid children in need. After moving to Newark and flying to India to help open an orphanage, they plan to host their own charity and someday run an orphanage in the Third World. They were motivated by the search for a Vietnamese boy, Nguyen van Phong, tied to adoption before Saigon’s fall. The Kuan g Yin Foundation, Canada, had sent help for polio-stricken children. The couple now has three children at home Emilee 3 and twins Katie and Sarah 18 months old. Back page.
