Endorsements emerge from Union City Fremont and Newark as 40 teens take part in a Can Do Ecology Day drive led by Miss Kan Mayer to back State Senator Lewis F Sherman. Castro Valley voters back attorney William Hannon for the Hayward San Leandro judicial bench after a Castro Valley League meeting. Francis Dinci joins the effort to recall former State Senator John Kelmdahl and help former Assemblyman Dunn lead the campaign.
