Property owners across Ala mera County flooded the assessor's office with calls and walk ins after weekend tax bills, many grievances not about the assessor but about higher totals from increased budgets for the county, cities, schools and districts. Chet Martin said calls came in so fast no estimate could be given and most complaints concerned bill increases rather than assessments.
