He moved with family to Hawaii in 1907 and California in 1909 serving in U S Army Air Service 1922 23 and later as stock control clerk at Suisun and Hayward. Married Edith Robinson in 1931 they reside 102 Western Blvd Hayward with two children Loren 18 and Lorraine 16. He enjoys hunting fishing and is active in the Hayward Moose lodge. brother Manuel Castro is a former cannery workers union business agent.
