Services for Ernest A. Corbett aged 52 who died Tuesday will be held Monday in Hayward. He is father to Virginia Jarolyn Patricia Faye Michael and Charles Corbett, all of Kentucky, and brother to Mary Clark Agnes Peak Jean Oldham Velma Zaepfel Joe Fred Kelly Howard and Pius Corbett, also of Kentucky. Burial will be at Golden Gate Cemetery in San Bruno.
Woody Davis, a transient, was found near Southern Pacific tracks south of Hayward at 815 am and rushed to St. Rose Hospital. Hospital officials described him as surprisingly coherent, with transfer planned to Highland Hospital in Oakland. Police report unclear whether he fell from or was struck by a train.

The Trinity Episcopal Church will see windup of sample ballots by Monday as Kaerner's office completes the last insertions before forwarding to the post office. The Rev. Graham N. Lesser will officiate.
