Turnkey housing proposal rejected in Union City vote

Union City voters rejected a federal low income housing program by 116 to 352 amid 25 percent turnout. Manson cult member captured after bold jail escape

Kenneth Curly Camo, 31, a former Manson follower, was captured in West Hollywood seven tours after escaping the Hall of Justice. Deputies said he surrendered without resistance, found hiding behind a shed as a massive manhunt swept a six block area. He faces armed robbery and assault charges. a clan member, Sandy Gode, was arrested for aiding the escape.

California bill would allow addicts treated outside prisons

Efforts in Sacramento push AB 2d to let doctors treat addicts at community programs or physician offices.
