Mother Admits Killing Two Children in Kansas
In Peabody near Wichita a 34 year old mother Mary Anne Gamariche was arrested on an open charge after she stabbed to death two of her three children. She was found wandering along railroad tracks talking to herself and said she killed two children and planned to jump in front of a train.

Milo Spaich 44 vice president and general manager of American Forge and sales head of Pacific States Steel died in a Montana hunting accident. He tripped and discharged his gun, mortally wounding himself during a trip near De Borfin 90 miles west of Missoula. Surviving family includes his widow two children mother two brothers two sisters and several in-laws. He graduated from the University of Santa Clara in 1934 and held Masonic and other lodge memberships.
