Trio Bound Over on Kidnap Robbery and Murder Charges
Three Indiana residents William Tudor 24 Robert Frogge 28 and Sylvia Frogge 23 were bound over to Kern County Superior Court on charges of kidnapping robbery and attempted murder in a Bakersfield home invasion. Ralph Smith testified he was forced to drive to his downtown office and hand over cash from a sale and was wounded in a scuffle after one intruder was disarmed. His wife and son were shot but not seriously hurt. A neighbor said Tudor sought aid with a bullet wound in his back. The family was held for three hours and hospitalized briefly.
