Mrs. Nar mel C. Richison 32 and her nine year old niece Layina Harden of Manteca died Monday night when two cars collided just outside the city limits. Patrol said Richison was struck broadside by an auto driven by 23 year old Charles E. Spurgeon of Manteca. Spurgeon and two passengers escaped with moderate injuries.
