In Oakland three men and a young blonde woman robbed the Bank of America at Foothill Boulevard and 38th Street, escaping with at least $6000. They smashed the bank’s phone system and fled in a light gray sedan. police swarmed the area but the suspects kept ahead, abandoning the sedan at 34th Avenue. A woman witness said the group then drove off in a green Ford sedanette.
