Albert Thorwald Sorensen a partner in Sorensen Brothers Mortuary and Hayward resident since his grandparents settled there died at 54 after a long illness. He aided local groups including the Chamber of Commerce Native Sons and Coast Guard Auxiliary and leaves a wife Nanette and children in Castro Valley Seattle and local kin. Funeral services are Friday at 2 20 p.m. at Sorensen Brothers Chapel with Native Sons and church leaders officiating and burial at Lone Tree Cemetery.
