Sheriff deputies arrested Jerry Hernandez of 2481 Grave Way apt 4 near Charlene Way Castro Valley in connection with the apparent strangulation death of Estelle Pike a Michigan resident and stroke victim at the Charlene Way hospital early yesterday. Hospital staff saw a man inside the building earlier and a composite sketch aided the arrest. The motive and any missing items remain under investigation as Hernandez is held on suspicion of murder.
