CHICAGO AP Two antique doors from the British Isles stand at the Chicago Art Institute entrance to the new court gardens. The inner door is a pine 4 foot 31 inch piece, nearly 200 years old, from Douglas Castle in Lanark Scotland and early work of Robert Adam. The outer door is a decorative early Georgian pine door from a 1715 London house. Both doors are part of the Howard Van Doren Sha memorial collection.
