Federal drug authorities arrest three people over an eight trailer LSD operation in upstate New York. The lab reportedly produced about 3 million dosage units monthly sold at two dollars each and distributed nationwide, with most reaching the West Coast.
Declassified documents cited by Science Travels claim the Ford White House asked intelligence agencies to estimate how many bombs could be built from missing weapons grade uranium diverted from a Pennsylvania NMEC plant in Apollo. The report notes uranium was reportedly tested in the 190s at NMEC.
