Rich Lafite Bottle Sells For Record $5000 in San Francisco
Laurence Bender a Boston broker placed a bid at an auction in San Francisco yesterday and bought a single bottle of Chateau Lafite 1846 for a record $5000 likely for a client. Bomb explosion injures four on Van Wyck Expressway
Four Tracealarm Inc employees were hurt when a bomb exploded in their car on the Van Wyck Expressway near Kennedy Airport. One man, Frank Demlemko, 52, was critically wounded with extensive blast injuries and a fractured leg. The group carried about $60,000 in cash, charred and scattered around the scene.
